Canceling your TreasuryDirect payroll deductions
Employee Self Service (ESS) enables employees to cancel their TreasuryDirect payroll deductions. Cancellations made to your TreasuryDirect payroll deductions may take up to two paychecks before becoming effective.
To change your TreasuryDirect settings
- 1. From the navigation menu, click Employee Self Service, then Payroll and Compensation, then Deduction Information, then click TreasuryDirect.
Your current TreasuryDirect information appears.
- Click the Cancel Plan button.
Your current TreasuryDirect Info displays, as well as a Confirm dialog box.
- In the Confirm section, you may select to have an email confirmation sent. Enter your email address.
- Click the Confirm Changes button.
An email will be sent to you stating that a pending cancellation has been applied to your TreasuryDirect information in ESS. The cancellation should be processed by the next business day but may take up to two paychecks to become effective.
- Your current TreasuryDirect Info and Pending TreasuryDirect Deduction Info displays with a note of cancellation and a Doc Number.
