Setting up FDNY Honor Emergency Fund payroll deductions
This section enables FDNY employees to automatically deduct $2.00 from each paycheck to deposit into the FDNY Honor Emergency Fund.
To set up FDNY Honor Emergency Fund payroll deductions
- From the navigation menu, click Employee Self Service, then click Payroll and Compensation, then click Deduction Information, then click the FDNY Honor Emergency Fund link .
The FDNY Honor Emergency Fund page appears.
- Click the Enroll button.
The New Donation for Honor Emergency Fund Info dialog box appears displaying the text, “Amount to be deducted per paycheck: $2.00.” Currently you can only deduct $2.00 per paycheck to deposit into the FDNY Honor Emergency Fund.
- Click the Submit button.
- A Confirm dialog box appears. You may select to have an email confirmation sent. Enter your email address.
- Click the Confirm Changes button
- The Current TreasuryDirect Info and Pending TreasuryDirect Deduction Info appears.
Important: An email will be sent to you stating that your TreasuryDirect payroll deduction enrollment is pending and that it should be processed by the next business day but may take up to two paychecks to become effective.
