Canceling your FDNY Honor Emergency Fund payroll deductions

Employee Self Service (ESS) enables employees to cancel their FDNY Honor Emergency Fund payroll deductions. Cancellations made to your FDNY Honor Emergency Fund payroll deductions may take up to two paychecks before becoming effective.

To change your FDNY Honor Emergency Fund settings

  1. From the navigation menu, click Employee Self Service, then Payroll and Compensation, then Deduction Information, then click FDNY Honor Emergency Fund.

    Your current FDNY Honor Emergency Fund information appears.

  2. Click the Cancel Plan button

    Your current Honor Emergency Fund Direct Info displays, as well as a Confirm dialog box.

  3. In the Confirm section, you may select to have an email confirmation sent. Enter your email address.

  4. Click the Confirm Changes button.

    An email will be sent to you stating that a pending cancellation has been applied to your FDNY Honor Emergency Fund information in ESS. The cancellation should be processed by the next business day but may take up to two paychecks to become effective.


  5. Your current Honor Emergency Fund Info and Pending Honor Emergency Fund Deduction Info displays with a note of cancellation and a Doc Number.

  6. For more information regarding the FDNY Honor Emergency Fund, employees should contact the Director of the Honor Emergency Fund at FDNY.
